Material Controller

About the role

The Material Controller ensures that the right materials and parts are available exactly when needed, so production never stops. You will translate engineering BOMs into clear material requirements, monitor the status of purchased, in‑house and subcontracted parts, and coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to meet the production schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Convert engineering BOMs into actionable material plans.
• Track the status of all materials against the production schedule.
• Drive timely delivery from suppliers and internal manufacturing units.
• Maintain accurate material inventories and reconcile discrepancies.
• Generate regular reports on material availability and lead times.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in material control, planning or procurement within a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and BOMs and understand fabrication processes.
• Fluent Vietnamese and working proficiency in English.
