Material Planning Executive (8-Month Contract)

About the role

We are looking for a Material Planning Executive to join our supply chain team on an 8‑month contract. The role focuses on ensuring the right materials are available for production while optimizing inventory levels.

Key responsibilities

• Establish material requirements for production plans using MRP planned orders.
• Analyze production needs, sales forecasts and historical data to determine optimal inventory levels.
• Coordinate with the purchasing team to schedule deliveries, manage lead times and monitor production constraints.
• Implement efficient inventory management strategies to reduce excess stock and improve turnover.
• Maintain accurate material master data in SAP and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor material availability and resolve shortages promptly.
• Collaborate with production supervisors to align material supply with production schedules.
• Generate regular reports on inventory status and MRP performance.

Required profile

• University degree in Economics, Engineering, Supply Chain or related field.
• Strong analytical abilities and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English and Vietnamese.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and make sound decisions.
• High proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
• Experience with material planning or inventory management is a plus.
