Modernization Sales Manager

About the role

The Modernization Sales Manager will lead the growth of Schindler's modernization business in Vietnam. This role focuses on expanding both on‑portfolio and off‑portfolio modernization projects for elevators and escalators, while protecting and enhancing the company's service portfolio in line with group guidelines and budget requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a sales strategy to increase modernization revenue, aligned with group growth targets.
• Identify aging elevator and escalator installations and target customers for upgrade opportunities.
• Drive sales activities to protect existing service contracts and capture new modernization projects.
• Collaborate with engineering and project teams to ensure technical feasibility and successful project delivery.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to adapt the sales approach.
• Manage the sales pipeline, forecast revenue, and report performance against budget.

Required profile

• University degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Customer‑focused with strong commercial acumen and a positive, "can‑do" attitude.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Experience in sales management, preferably within industrial products.
• Financial knowledge to understand project economics.
• Sales experience in industrial products; understanding of basic lift design and project management is a plus.
• Proficiency in SAP is an advantage.
• Fluent in English.
