Network Security Specialist

About the role

The Network Security Specialist will lead the design, implementation and ongoing optimisation of network infrastructure and security for the APAC region, while providing on‑site IT support to business users in Vietnam.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and maintain LAN, WAN, wireless, network security, automation and monitoring solutions across 45+ sites and 3 data centres.
• Define and enforce APAC network security standards in line with Airbus Group policies.
• Support architects on connectivity road‑maps and collaborate with global product owners on Cisco, Bluecoat and Palo Alto technologies.
• Work with the APAC/Central CyberSecurity team to implement security protocols and protect against cyber threats.
• Provide on‑site IT support, PC deployment, patch testing, asset management and incident handling for local users.
• Manage the Digital budget for Vietnam, oversee local digital projects and act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and the global Digital team.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or related field.
• More than 5 years of experience in connectivity design, implementation and management.
• Strong stakeholder management, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work onsite in Hanoi and handle high‑pressure situations.

Required skills

• LAN/WAN deployment and troubleshooting.
• Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers, Wi‑Fi technologies, Cisco Catalyst Center, Cisco SD‑Access.
• Palo Alto firewalls, Cisco ASA/Firepower, VPN gateways, Cisco ISE, Bluecoat proxy.
• Network automation, scripting or programming.
• High availability, disaster recovery and data‑center networking.
• Vendor management and network monitoring tools (SNMP, performance optimisation).
