Operation Engineer

About the role

The Operation Engineer will support the production unit at Ajinomoto Vietnam, ensuring that manufacturing processes run smoothly and comply with all safety and quality standards. This entry‑level position is ideal for recent graduates with a background in biology, biotechnology or food technology who are eager to apply their knowledge in an industrial environment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and control the daily production process of the assigned unit.
• Ensure team members follow workplace rules, regulations and standard operating procedures.
• Assign tasks, track progress and provide guidance to team members.
• Measure and report key performance indicators (KPIs) and critical control points.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve operational issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry or Food Technology.
• Graduates with a thesis in Microbiology are preferred.
• Detail‑oriented, responsible and able to work collaboratively.
• Proficient in English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office applications, especially Excel and Word.
