People Manager – EMS Manufacturing

About the role

The People Manager – EMS Manufacturing leads and develops the workforce within an Electronics Manufacturing Services environment. Reporting to senior leadership, this role ensures that staffing, engagement, performance, and compliance are aligned with operational goals.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Operations, Production, Quality, Engineering, Planning, Warehouse and HR to create effective manpower plans.
• Drive employee engagement initiatives and maintain workforce stability.
• Oversee performance management processes, including goal setting, reviews and development plans.
• Ensure compliance with labor regulations, safety standards and company policies.
• Support employer branding and talent attraction efforts specific to high‑volume manufacturing.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Industrial Management, Engineering or a related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in manufacturing, EMS, electronics, automotive, semiconductor or high‑volume production environments.
• 2–3 years of experience in people management, HR business partnering or production leadership.
• Relevant professional HR or leadership certifications are a plus.
