Planning Specialist

About the role

The Planning Specialist ensures smooth production operations by coordinating material supply, production scheduling, inventory control, and capacity planning. This role requires strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and proactive communication to meet delivery commitments and revenue targets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop production plans based on demand forecasts, customer orders, and available capacity.
• Coordinate material supply and monitor inventory levels to avoid shortages or excess.
• Maintain production schedules, adjust plans as needed, and communicate changes to relevant teams.
• Track capacity and labor utilization, identifying bottlenecks and proposing improvements.
• Collaborate with procurement, manufacturing, and logistics to ensure timely delivery of components.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in production planning or materials control.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Fluent English; knowledge of Chinese is a plus.
