Plant Controller

About the role

The Plant Controller will lead all finance activities at the plant level, partnering with the Plant General Manager to drive sustainable growth and ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies. This senior position oversees a finance team, provides coaching, and collaborates with cross‑functional partners to deliver accurate financial reporting and strategic insights.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the plant’s full financial cycle, including budgeting, forecasting, month‑end close, and statutory reporting.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to build capability and performance.
• Partner with the Plant GM to set financial targets, monitor KPIs, and support decision‑making.
• Ensure compliance with Vietnamese regulations, internal controls, and corporate policies.
• Drive cost‑control initiatives, variance analysis, and profitability improvement.
• Prepare and present FP&A reports, cost models, and financial dashboards to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; CPA, ACCA or CMA preferred.
• 10+ years of hands‑on finance experience, including at least 3 years in a finance manager role.
• Experience in a multinational or large enterprise, preferably within mechanical, electrical or communications industries.
• Proven track record in full‑cycle plant finance, FP&A, and cost management.
