Process Engineer

About the role

3M is seeking a Process Engineer to join its manufacturing team at Diem Thuy Industrial Park in Thai Nguyen Province, Vietnam. The role focuses on monitoring equipment, optimizing production processes, and ensuring high product quality while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor equipment performance, conduct regular testing, and ensure maintenance tasks are completed.
• Oversee production line processes, maintain optimization, and assist Process Technicians with troubleshooting.
• Collect, interpret, and report data; present findings to senior colleagues and management.
• Perform risk assessments on equipment and processes, and continuously evaluate efficiency and quality.
• Develop new processes or technologies to improve yield and reduce costs.
• Ensure product quality and handle customer complaints.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related discipline (master’s preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a process engineer or quality engineer.
• Fluent English communication (reading, writing, speaking).
• Strong critical and logical thinking with statistical analysis capability.
• Commercial awareness and excellent communication skills.
