Product Engineer – Furniture Production Optimization

About the role

We are looking for a Product Engineer to lead production process planning and improvement for our furniture manufacturing operations. The role focuses on boosting efficiency, reducing costs, and enhancing product quality through systematic optimisation.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse current production workflows and identify bottlenecks.
• Adjust processing parameters and refine assembly procedures to lower defect rates.
• Develop and implement continuous‑improvement initiatives that increase output while maintaining quality standards.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align product development with manufacturing capabilities.
• Document process changes and provide training to shop‑floor staff.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a product engineer in the furniture industry.
• Proven track record in product development and project management is preferred.
• Strong understanding of furniture materials, production flows, and manufacturing equipment.
