Product Engineer (Mechanical)

About the role

The Product Engineer will support the development of new mechanical products for Boyd Vietnam. You will work closely with customers and internal teams to translate technical specifications into manufacturable designs and cost‑effective solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Perform cost and feasibility analyses for new product ideas.
• Identify and confirm customer technical specifications and key features.
• Validate process schemes and flow for new products.
• Create and maintain documentation such as BOMs, routing, drawings, process plans, PFMEA and flow charts.
• Define technical requirements for tooling and molds.
• Collaborate with process engineers and other stakeholders throughout the product development cycle.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automation, Metal Materials or Thermal Engineering.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Familiarity with CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, UG or Pro‑E.
• Strong communication abilities; project‑management experience is a plus.
