Production Schedule Specialist

About the role

The Production Schedule Specialist will design, implement and continuously improve production schedules for Hitachi Energy’s manufacturing facility in Vietnam. The role ensures that manufacturing operations run smoothly, meet delivery commitments and align capacity with market demand.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and optimise detailed production schedules using ERP/MRP and advanced planning systems.
• Balance production capacity with forecasted demand, identify and resolve bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and operations teams to ensure material availability and resource allocation.
• Monitor schedule performance, generate reports and recommend process improvements.
• Support continuous‑improvement initiatives and lean projects to increase efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience in production planning or scheduling within manufacturing, preferably in energy or heavy industry.
• Hands‑on experience with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP or Oracle and with APS software.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with data‑driven decision making.
• Excellent communication and ability to work cross‑functionally.
