Project Manager – Shipbuilding (Vietnamese Required)

About the role

Damen Song Cam Shipyard is seeking a Project Manager who is fluent in Vietnamese to lead the delivery of vessels from contract hand‑over to warranty closure. The role combines engineering, procurement, production and commissioning activities while ensuring safety, schedule, cost and quality targets are met.

Key responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary project teams across Engineering, Supply Chain, Production, Quality, Finance and Commissioning.
• Plan, coordinate and monitor all project activities against contractual milestones and company objectives.
• Manage project budgets, forecasts, cost control, and financial reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify and mitigate risks, maintain risk and opportunity registers, and drive continuous improvement using digital performance tools.
• Serve as the primary interface with customers, ensuring transparent communication and stakeholder satisfaction.

Required profile

• Strong communication and cooperation skills with customers, suppliers and internal teams.
• Deep technical and commercial expertise in shipbuilding project management.
• Proven leadership ability to influence multidisciplinary teams without formal authority.
• Team‑oriented mindset with a focus on collaboration and knowledge sharing.

Required skills

• MES (Manufacturing Execution System) familiarity.
• Power BI for data‑driven decision making.
