Project Officer – BEING Project (Hanoi)

About the role

The Project Officer will support the implementation of the Young mind: Safe Family (BEING) project and other related initiatives aimed at improving mental health and wellbeing of young people in Vietnam.

Key responsibilities

• Implement project activities for the BEING (Young mind: Safe Family) initiative and other assigned projects in Vietnam.
• Coordinate closely with the Project Manager and local partners to ensure timely and cost‑effective delivery of activities.
• Monitor project performance against objectives and quality standards, drawing on good practices and lessons learned.
• Ensure compliance with Save the Children Vietnam programming principles, donor regulations and child rights standards.

Required profile

• Proven ability to manage and execute tasks in a project environment, including coordination with multiple stakeholders.
• Flexibility to work beyond normal hours and adapt to emergency humanitarian situations.
• Understanding of child rights, mental health and wellbeing concepts for young people.
• Commitment to uphold organizational policies, quality standards and donor requirements.
