R&D Development Analyst – 9‑Month Contract

About the role

FrieslandCampina Vietnam is seeking a motivated R&D Development Analyst to join its research laboratory for a nine‑month contract. The role focuses on creating and testing new food products, supporting sensory evaluation, and ensuring smooth transfer of innovations to pilot and production lines.

Key responsibilities

• Design, execute, and document laboratory experiments and product prototypes.
• Analyse experimental results and prepare detailed technical reports.
• Organise and supervise sensory evaluations, pilot trials, and production trials for both new and existing products.
• Manage the sensory panel and provide technical support to local project teams.
• Maintain R&D equipment, laboratory facilities, and ensure data integrity in SAP.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Food Engineering or Food Science.
• 4‑5 years of experience in food product development or related R&D functions.
• Strong written and spoken English.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Required skills

• Product development and food technology knowledge.
• Sensory analysis and evaluation techniques.
• Statistical analysis for sensory and consumer data.
• Proficiency with sensory software such as XLSTAT and EyeQuestion.
• Experience using SAP PLM and SAP ECC modules.
