Reliability Test Engineer – Quality Assurance

About the role

The Reliability Test Engineer will lead evaluation activities for Wacom's branded products and components, such as EMR pens, boards, and digitizers. The role ensures that production meets high‑reliability standards and supports the QA team in delivering consistent, high‑quality results.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct Ongoing Reliability Tests (ORT) to verify production quantities and ensure timely delivery of test results within the QA team.
• Collaborate internally with QA members to cover all aspects of product evaluation and reliability analysis.
• Maintain documentation of test procedures, results, and corrective actions.
• Support continuous improvement of reliability testing processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of product evaluation methods, testing equipment, and reliability analysis.
• At least 3 years of engineering or quality‑management experience in the electronic or mechanical industry.
• Familiarity with reliability testing or design‑process quality management.
• Fluent English (and Japanese) in both oral and written communication.
