Safety Engineer

About the role

Systra, a world‑leading transport engineering firm, is seeking a Safety Engineer to support the supervision of construction and installation works on the Hanoi Pilot Metro Line (Nhon – Hanoi Railway Station). The role is based in Hanoi and focuses on ensuring that all activities comply with local and international safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct HSE inspections and audits on construction sites.
• Monitor compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Identify hazards, propose corrective actions, and follow up on implementation.
• Collaborate with project managers and contractors to integrate safety measures into daily operations.
• Prepare safety reports and documentation for the project board.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in safety engineering or a related field.
• Proficient English language skills (mandatory).
• Experience in construction or rail‑infrastructure projects is an advantage.
