SAP Lead Developer

About the role

The SAP Lead Developer will lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable SAP solutions across BTP, S/4HANA, R/3, and Fiori, including AI-enabled applications. This senior role combines hands‑on development with technical leadership and solution architecture.

Key responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and implementation of SAP applications across BTP, S/4HANA, R/3, and Fiori.
• Translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable technical designs.
• Provide technical leadership through solution guidance, code reviews, mentoring, and standards.
• Design and implement integrations between SAP and non‑SAP systems using APIs, OData, REST, event‑driven architecture, and integration platforms.
• Modernize and optimize existing SAP applications, ensuring performance, security, reliability, scalability, and maintainability.

Required profile

• 5–10 years of SAP software development, solution design, or enterprise application development.
• Strong experience with SAP BTP, S/4HANA, R/3, and Fiori environments.
• Proven ability to translate business processes into technical solutions.
• Experience providing technical leadership, architecture guidance, and mentoring.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Required skills

• ABAP, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, SAPUI5, Node.js.
• SAP BTP services, S/4HANA technologies, Fiori/SAPUI5 development.
• Integration technologies: APIs, OData, REST, middleware, event‑driven architectures.
• AI/ML integration or AI‑enabled enterprise applications (highly desirable).
• Modern software engineering practices: DevOps, CI/CD, Git, automated deployment, testing, secure coding.
