Senior AI Engineer – Supply Chain (Agent focus)

About the role

As a Senior AI Engineer focusing on supply chain agents, you will collaborate with logistics leaders, data engineers, and business stakeholders to design and deliver high‑impact AI solutions that automate and optimise complex supply‑chain processes.

Key responsibilities

• Define AI/agent use cases and translate them into scalable architectures.
• Architect, develop and deploy multi‑agent systems using frameworks such as CrewAI, AutoGen and LangGraph.
• Build and optimise Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, including vector databases and ranking strategies.
• Integrate large language models (LLMs) with enterprise systems like SAP, internal tools and REST APIs via MCP and tool‑calling.
• Develop agent workflows across platforms (e.g., Copilot Studio, n8n, Azure AI) and implement evaluation frameworks for prompt quality, hallucination detection and token efficiency.
• Own the end‑to‑end deployment of AI services, including API design, orchestration, monitoring and CI/CD pipelines.
• Continuously improve prompting strategies (ReAct, tool use, structured outputs) and mentor junior engineers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in AI/ML or software engineering with production‑grade systems.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work cross‑functionally with logistics and business teams.

Required skills

• Python (mandatory); TypeScript/JavaScript (optional).
• Hands‑on experience with LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, open‑source models).
• Deep expertise in agent frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, AutoGen, LangGraph.
• Solid understanding of RAG, vector databases, embeddings and retrieval optimisation.
• Experience integrating APIs, MCP and enterprise tools (ERP/SAP).
• Proficiency in deploying production AI systems on cloud platforms, including CI/CD, monitoring and orchestration.
• Familiarity with Azure AI, Copilot Studio and workflow tools like n8n.
