Senior Cost Accountant

About the role

The Senior Cost Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate standard costs within the company’s ERP system and ensuring proper inventory valuation across all sites. The role requires deep expertise in cost accounting and strong analytical abilities to support manufacturing finance operations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and regularly update standard cost data in the ERP system.
• Develop expertise on the ERP inventory module and understand the full transaction flow for inventory valuation, cost of sales, and quantity on hand.
• Ensure inventory reserve policies are consistently applied across all locations.
• Enforce inventory control procedures and support month‑end closing activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum 5 + years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Deep understanding of costing methods and inventory valuation.
• Strong attention to detail and high‑level mathematical skills.
• Ability to translate complex data into concise financial reports.
