Senior Electrical & PLC Automation Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Electrical & PLC Automation Engineer to lead the design and implementation of electrical hardware and PLC solutions for our automated production lines. You will work closely with manufacturing teams to analyse processes and deliver optimal automation concepts that improve efficiency and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse manufacturing processes and identify automation opportunities.
• Develop and propose optimal automation concepts and system architectures.
• Lead electrical hardware design, including schematics, wiring, and panel layout.
• Program PLCs, HMIs, and motion control systems for custom equipment.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate automation solutions into production lines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Automation, Mechatronics or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical design and PLC programming for custom automation projects, preferably in semiconductor or electronics manufacturing.
