Senior Medical Representative - Specialty

About the role

Novartis is hiring a Senior Medical Representative for its specialty business in Ha Noi, working in a hybrid setting. The role reports directly to the Area Manager and focuses on driving territory performance, engaging healthcare professionals and delivering scientific product communication within the assigned therapeutic area. Relocation support is not offered.

Key responsibilities

• Execute call plans for customers, including medical experts from customer or academic communities, reaching the right person with the right message at the right frequency.
• Develop an understanding of customer organisations and networks and the factors influencing their decisions.
• Use tools such as iPads and brochures to carry out product detailing and presentations to healthcare professionals and other key stakeholders.
• Apply product strategies to build and run a territory plan, working with Key Accounts (hospitals, clinics) and colleagues across functions to exceed targets.
• Provide insight into the local healthcare system and identify new business opportunities with current or potential accounts.
• Share stakeholder insights internally and help develop new business strategies.
• Ensure Novartis products and services are widely understood and available to more patients, and use reporting tools such as Agora and the QTQ report.
• Work within ethical and compliance policies and act as a communication bridge between the field and Marketing and FLM/FFM.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Medicine.
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Previous experience with specialty products is a plus.
• Good interpersonal skills, proactive learning and a strong aptitude for collaboration.
