About the role

The Senior Operations Petro‑Geologist acts as the central coordinator for all subsurface operational activities, including slim‑hole batch drilling, daily geological evaluation, and post‑well analysis. This senior position ensures operational readiness, standardised workflows, and effective communication across multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate subsurface operations for slim‑hole batch drilling projects.
• Perform daily geological evaluations and post‑well assessments.
• Maintain and improve operational readiness and workflow standardisation.
• Ensure compliance with approved procedures and data acquisition programs.
• Facilitate communication between drilling, engineering, and geoscience teams.
• Oversee formation evaluation and integration of seismic and well data.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience as an Operations Geologist.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Geology or Petroleum Engineering.
• Experience with offshore operations and GOT (Geology‑Operations‑Technology) preferred.
• Strong ability to work independently and within a team.
