Senior Principal Financial Control Expert (Director Level)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Principal Financial Control Expert at Director level to strengthen financial governance, ensure transparency, and protect business performance through rigorous risk and cost management. The role will provide strategic financial oversight to support sustainable growth and lead cross‑functional initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead financial control, reporting and governance activities across the organization.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting and comprehensive financial planning processes.
• Monitor profit and loss statements, margin performance and cost structures.
• Ensure robust internal controls and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• 8–10 years of experience in finance control, FP&A, audit or similar functions, preferably within consumer finance, banking or insurance.
• Demonstrated strong financial acumen, risk awareness, high integrity and analytical problem‑solving abilities.
• Proven capability to influence business decisions, manage projects and collaborate across functions.
• Mandatory professional qualifications: ACCA, CPA or CFA, with solid knowledge of IFRS and Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS). Experience with a Big 4 firm is a plus.
