Senior Sales Specialist

About the role

ABB is seeking a Senior Sales Specialist to lead project pursuit activities for its Electrification Smart Buildings portfolio in Vietnam. You will work closely with consultants, developers, contractors, panel builders and end users to grow market presence and drive sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, qualify and convert opportunities across commercial, infrastructure, industrial and smart building projects to meet sales and profitability targets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to influence specifications and position ABB’s Smart Buildings solutions.
• Develop and execute sales plans, manage opportunity pipelines and account strategies, and monitor project progress.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals, deliver customer presentations, support negotiations and ensure a positive customer experience throughout the sales cycle.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in project sales, specification sales or business development within electrical, building technologies or construction industries in Vietnam.
• Proven track record of influencing specifications and securing projects through consultants, developers, contractors and end‑users.
• Fluent in Vietnamese and English with strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
