Strategic Sourcing Specialist

About the role

RMIT University Vietnam is looking for a Strategic Sourcing Specialist to lead end‑to‑end strategic sourcing and procurement projects. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to deliver value for money, ensure compliance and manage risks across the procurement lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market analysis and identify suitable suppliers.
• Manage supplier selection, contract negotiation and framework agreement administration.
• Provide commercial advice to business units and act as a trusted advisor.
• Monitor procurement performance, compliance and risk mitigation.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align sourcing strategies with organisational goals.

Required profile

• Relevant qualification in Business, IT, Engineering, Project Management, Business Law or a related field.
• 4–6 years of professional experience in procurement, finance or business development.
• Project management or contract management experience is a plus.
• Commercial knowledge of ICT or construction categories with a proven track record of delivering sourcing initiatives.
