Structural Design Engineer for Steel Buildings

About the role

We are looking for a Structural Design Engineer to design steel‑frame buildings in Ho Chi Minh City. The role focuses on creating structural systems that comply with Australian Standard codes while collaborating with local teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design structural elements such as slabs, beams, columns, walls, foundations and piles for steel buildings.
• Prepare and review architectural and structural drawings.
• Apply Australian and Vietnamese design codes throughout the design process.
• Use the SpaceGass software under the guidance of an Australian senior engineer.
• Coordinate with the HCMC office team to ensure design deliverables meet project schedules.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Strong understanding of architectural drawings and civil‑structural principles.
• Familiarity with both Australian and Vietnamese design standards.
• Ability to read and use technical English terminology.
