Temporary Development Facilitator – Community Development (Vietnam)

About the role

World Vision is seeking a Temporary Development Facilitator to support vulnerable children and families in Vietnam. You will work directly with local communities, partners and stakeholders to design and implement projects that improve child well‑being and promote sustainable development.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a catalyst and partnership builder to enhance the well‑being of children and their families.
• Manage technical projects within assigned communes, including community engagement, sponsorship, child participation and protection, inclusion of the most vulnerable children, micro‑projects, and humanitarian emergency affairs and disaster risk reduction.
• Advocate for sustainable well‑being of children, especially the most vulnerable, and ensure project alignment with World Vision’s mission.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in education, public health, community development, or social work.
• Motorbike driving licence.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in community development and program implementation, preferably with an international humanitarian organization.
• Fluent Vietnamese and intermediate English.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Strong understanding of child‑focused, community‑based development concepts and excellent partnering skills.
