Temporary Seafreight Operations Executive

About the role

Geodis Vietnam is seeking a Temporary Seafreight Operations Executive to support its maritime logistics activities. The role will involve managing end‑to‑end sea freight operations, ensuring smooth import/export flows and delivering high‑quality service to customers.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate sea freight shipments from booking to delivery, handling documentation and customs clearance.
• Monitor cargo movement, track schedules and resolve any operational issues.
• Maintain communication with carriers, suppliers and internal teams to ensure compliance with Incoterms and delivery terms.
• Manage risk and insurance aspects of shipments, ensuring proper coverage.
• Provide customer service support, addressing inquiries and providing status updates.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in freight or logistics operations, preferably sea or air freight.
• Strong knowledge of customs procedures, import/export processes and Incoterms.
• Familiarity with supplier conditions, purchasing terms and risk/insurance concepts.
