Accountant

About the role

Van Thiel & Co. is expanding its finance team at its headquarters in Thảo Điền, Ho Chi Minh City. We are looking for a motivated Accountant to support our growing international operations, ensuring accurate financial records and smooth day‑to‑day accounting processes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable cycles, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing activities, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Assist with internal and external audit preparation and follow‑up on audit findings.
• Maintain and update the ERP financial module, ensuring data integrity.
• Prepare financial reports and dashboards for management review.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of professional accounting experience.
• Strong command of English, both written and spoken.
• Independent, organized, detail‑oriented and proactive.

Required skills

• ERP system (financial module) experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Teams.
• Knowledge of audit management, accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
