Administrative Intern - ILRI Asia, Hanoi

About the role

The International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI) is looking for an Administrative Intern to support operational activities for ILRI Asia and its projects. The intern assists with administrative duties and provides logistical support for ILRI events and field project activities. The position is based at the ILRI Asia Regional Office in Hanoi, Vietnam, lasts 3-6 months and is supervised by the Regional Operations Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Provide logistics support for office meetings, workshops, training courses, events and field visits.
• Help office staff and visitors book travel, including flights, hotels, car rentals and visas.
• Manage the filing system and ensure proper documentation in the office files.
• Manage office supplies and support the procurement process.
• Coordinate repairs to office equipment.
• Carry out other tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Required profile

• Vietnamese national citizen in the last two years of an undergraduate degree, before the internship starts.
• Registered in a recognized university pursuing a bachelor's degree in business administration, economics, management, accountancy or a related field.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Responsible, flexible, client-oriented and detail-oriented, with sound organizational and communication skills.
• Firm interest in sustainable development and in working with international organizations or NGOs.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
