Associate - Deals Strategy

About the role

PwC is seeking an Associate to join its Deals Strategy team in Ho Chi Minh City. You will support clients through mergers and acquisitions, divestitures and restructuring by providing strategic advice, market analysis and actionable insights.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform deal strategies.
• Analyze target companies’ financials, business models and market positioning.
• Develop business plans, growth strategies and synergy assessments.
• Prepare client presentations, reports and other deliverables.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and support senior members in client meetings and workshops.
• Monitor industry trends and contribute to internal knowledge development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics or a related field.
• Relevant experience in strategy consulting, corporate finance, investment banking or a similar area.
• Strong analytical and quantitative abilities with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Vietnamese proficiency required.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities and thrive in a team‑oriented environment.
