Automation and Robotization Engineer

About the role

The Automation and Robotization Engineer will design, develop, implement and support robotic equipment and automated manufacturing systems used throughout LTD Material’s production operations. The role collaborates closely with engineering, production, maintenance, quality and machine shop teams to enhance efficiency, product quality, equipment reliability and workplace safety.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop robotic cells, tooling, fixtures and mechanical assemblies for production lines.
• Implement automation solutions, integrate hardware and software, and ensure reliable operation.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for existing robotic equipment.
• Work with cross‑functional teams to optimise manufacturing processes and improve safety standards.
• Maintain documentation, specifications and as‑built drawings for all automation projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Robotics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or a closely related field.
• Four to six years of experience in mechanical engineering, industrial robotics, manufacturing automation or machine design.
• Experience working in a machine shop environment is preferred.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems and automation principles.
