Automotive Diagnostic Software Engineer (Joining Bonus)

About the role

We are looking for an Automotive Diagnostic Software Engineer to develop diagnostic software solutions for modern vehicles, working with standard automotive diagnostic protocols and performing validation on test vehicles. Candidates joining by the end of 2026 may receive a one‑month gross salary joining bonus.

Key responsibilities

• Map ESI standard texts to OEM texts for aftersales and aftermarket diagnostic tester software.
• Create end‑to‑end diagnostic content for systems such as engine management, electric/hybrid, brake control, infotainment, ADAS, transmission, HVAC, airbags, etc.
• Analyze vehicle communication bus logs using various analyzers and simulate automotive systems with Vector or Samtec tools.
• Design workflow or test sequences in Bosch standard tools and evaluate OEM diagnostic data.
• Perform on‑vehicle validation, generate test reports, and benchmark/reverse‑engineer aftermarket diagnostic testers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Automotive Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle subsystems and proven ability to diagnose and troubleshoot vehicles.
• Experience with diagnostic testers (VIDA, Xentry, GDS, ADT, SDT‑II, DiagBox, HDS, Launch, Autel, G‑Scan, Zenith) and wiring diagrams.
• Understanding of OE system descriptions, service and repair manuals.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Bosch Aftermarket Diagnostic Tool – ESI (tronic).
• Sound knowledge of CAN, CAN FD, DoIP, UDS, J1939 protocols.
• Hands‑on experience with Vector or Samtec analyzer and simulation tools (HSX, HS+).
• Ability to handle various OEM testers and perform vehicle communication bus analysis.
