Business Development & Account Manager – APAC

About the role

We are seeking a Business Development & Account Manager to drive commercial expansion and strengthen our presence across the APAC region for a leading international engineering and manufacturing company specializing in aviation equipment and logistics.

Key responsibilities

• Co‑create and lead the commercial strategy for the APAC region, identifying market opportunities and building business cases.
• Act as primary commercial contact for key accounts, managing relationships, order execution and ensuring safety, quality and environmental standards.
• Negotiate and secure Long‑Term Agreements, handling complex B2B sales cycles from prospecting to contract signing.
• Provide first‑line support, track complaints and report performance against SMART sales targets.
• Collaborate with the Netherlands commercial team and help shape regional marketing; potentially lead a local sales team as the business scales.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a commercial, financial, technical or engineering discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in business development or commercial roles, preferably with a technical background.
• Proven experience in aviation, airport operations, freight forwarding or logistics, with a track record of large‑scale deals.
• Strong knowledge of B2B inbound marketing, international trade terms (Incoterms, payment terms) and sales processes.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities, high ethical standards and ability to work independently across time zones.
• Willingness to travel frequently across the APAC region.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
