Chief Accountant

About the role

The Chief Accountant will lead all accounting and finance functions for Navigos Search in Ho Chi Minh City. This senior position ensures accurate financial reporting, compliance with tax regulations, and effective cash‑flow management. The role is pivotal for supporting the company’s trading and distribution activities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts receivable/payable, inventory accounting and tax compliance.
• Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements, tax reports and management reports.
• Monitor product costs (COGS) and sales performance to provide actionable insights.
• Maintain and operate the MISA AMIS accounting system.
• Control cash flow, supervise customer payments and ensure timely collections.
• Coordinate with internal departments to support budgeting and forecasting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Chief Accountant certification is mandatory.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Chief Accountant, preferably in a small trading or distribution company.
• Experience in import/export, trading or distribution environments is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MISA AMIS accounting software.
• Strong knowledge of tax processes and regulations.
• Solid accounting and finance expertise.
