Controlling Officer – Reporting and Finance Business Partner

About the role

The Controlling Officer will support the full business planning cycle for Bosch Global Software Technologies (BGSV), covering headcount, revenue, cost and profit & loss. Acting as a finance business partner, the role provides insight and analysis to drive business performance.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in the end‑to‑end planning process, from headcount forecasting to revenue, cost and P&L management.
• Prepare and deliver monthly and yearly internal reports on revenue, profit & loss and cost management for BGSV and the central team in India.
• Collaborate with stakeholders as a financial partner, offering insights on revenue, cost and business improvement opportunities.
• Maintain an effective internal control system to ensure accurate financial operations.
• Develop automated reporting tools and dashboards for real‑time data analysis.
• Gain a deep understanding of processes to ensure smooth execution of harmonised projects.
• Perform ad‑hoc tasks assigned by the manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics.
• 2–3 years of experience in a comparable finance or controlling role.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience in quantitative and qualitative analysis.
• Self‑motivated, process‑oriented and eager to continuously learn.
