Data Analyst (BI + AI) - Remote

About the role

Beyondsoft, a mid-sized business IT and consulting company with offices across four continents, is looking for an experienced Data Analyst (BI + AI) to join its team in Vietnam. The role turns complex data into actionable business insights using advanced SQL, Power BI, data modeling and semantic modeling, while using modern AI tools to improve day-to-day analytics and productivity. It is a fully remote position.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze complex business data and turn findings into actionable insights and recommendations.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures for analysis and reporting.
• Design, build and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Build and maintain data models and semantic models, and develop DAX measures, metrics and calculations.
• Work with data warehouse structures and tabular models to support BI solutions.
• Analyze business and performance metrics, identify trends and share insights with stakeholders.
• Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements and turn them into data and BI solutions.
• Use AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT and Claude in daily analytics and productivity workflows, and explore ways to improve processes with AI-assisted analysis and automation.
• Communicate analytical findings and recommendations in English.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands-on SQL experience, including stored procedures.
• 2+ years of hands-on Power BI experience, with data modeling and semantic modeling.
• Strong DAX, data analysis and performance analysis experience.
• Experience with data warehouses and/or tabular data models.
• 1+ year of using AI tools such as Copilot, ChatGPT or Claude in daily work.
• Strong business analysis skills and strong English communication skills.
• Based in Vietnam and able to work remotely; remote candidates must complete a video screen with the recruiting team.
