Director, Information Technology Services

About the role

RMIT Vietnam is seeking a Director, Information Technology Services to join its senior executive leadership team. This role will shape the university’s digital future, drive enterprise‑wide transformation, and lead a world‑class IT ecosystem aligned with RMIT’s global digital strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute an IT strategy that supports RMIT’s global digital roadmap.
• Oversee day‑to‑day IT operations across multiple campuses and sites.
• Lead enterprise transformation projects and ensure successful delivery.
• Provide executive sponsorship for complex, multi‑site IT initiatives.
• Maintain governance, security, and compliance standards.
• Manage relationships with internal stakeholders and external technology partners.
• Build, mentor, and retain high‑performing IT teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or Business Systems.
• MBA or relevant Master’s degree preferred.
• Advanced certifications such as ITIL, PMP, CISM or TOGAF highly desirable.
• Proven ability to provide strategic technology vision and executive sponsorship in a large, multi‑site international organization.
• Strong leadership and change‑management experience.
