Electrical QC Supervisor – Vietnamese Required

About the role

The Electrical QC Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the quality control of all electrical work on board and in the shop at Damen Song Cam Shipyard. The role ensures that electrical installations comply with Damen standards, class regulations, and manufacturer specifications from material receipt through final commissioning.

Key responsibilities

• Review construction method statements and develop Inspection Test Plans (ITP) for electrical work.
• Inspect incoming electrical materials, switchboards, and control panels for compliance.
• Monitor and verify electrical installations, including cable trays, cable pulling, penetrations, and equipment connections.
• Witness Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) of main switchboards at supplier facilities.
• Investigate non‑conformities, issue NCRs, and drive corrective actions.
• Maintain inspection reports, progress updates, and documentation such as material certificates.

Required profile

• University degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in a shipyard or similar industrial environment.
