Embedded Android Developer – 1 Year Contract

About the role

We are looking for an Embedded Android Developer to join our team in Tân Bình for a one‑year fixed‑term contract. You will work on firmware, middleware and OS services that keep our embedded systems safe, stable and reliable.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis to system verification.
• Develop and maintain firmware, middleware and Android OS services for monitoring thermal, voltage, reset reasons and overall system state.
• Implement Android HAL components and ensure compliance with CTS/VTS test suites.
• Collaborate with international teams through English‑language discussions, emails and conference calls.
• Contribute to continuous integration and deployment pipelines where applicable.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, IT, Mechatronics or a related field.
• At least 2 + years of experience in Embedded Android software development (total 4 + years in software development) or be a recent graduate.
• Strong command of English for written and verbal communication.

Required skills

• Proficiency in C and C++.
• Knowledge of Object‑Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) and UML.
• Experience with Android HAL development, including CTS and VTS.
• Understanding of Android Services and the Binder framework.
• Familiarity with Google Test frameworks.
• Exposure to CI/CD processes and Agile working methods (a plus).
