Employee Relations Specialist

About the role

The Employee Relations Specialist will support Shinhan Bank Vietnam by managing employee relations matters and ensuring compliance with Vietnamese labor legislation and internal HR policies. This role combines investigative work, advisory support, and policy oversight to foster a fair and productive workplace.

Key responsibilities

• Manage disciplinary, misconduct and employee grievance cases, including fact‑finding investigations.
• Coordinate disciplinary committee meetings and prepare all related documentation.
• Monitor and administer Performance Improvement Program (PIP) cases.
• Provide legal and compliance advice on labor law and internal HR regulations.
• Review HR practices and policies to ensure alignment with the Vietnamese Labor Code and internal standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Human Resources or a related field.
• 5–7+ years of HR experience, preferably in employee relations or HR compliance.
• Strong knowledge of the Vietnamese Labor Code and HR regulations.
• Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Experience in the banking or financial services sector is a plus.
