About the role
The Food Auditor will ensure quality, health and safety, risk mitigation and performance improvement for clients in the food sector, supporting Bureau Veritas' mission of societal betterment.
Key responsibilities
- Operate the BV Certification Quality Management System and control audit activities, including planning and team coordination.
- Make decisions during audits, recommend certification issuance, and determine whether certification should be granted or continued.
- Represent BV to potential clients, negotiate contracts, and maintain primary client contact throughout the audit.
- Identify cross‑selling opportunities for Bureau Veritas services and assist in training other auditors.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree with strong English communication skills (written and spoken).
- Experience as a trainer or second‑party auditor in the food industry, preferably with aquaculture background.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 22000 and FSSC 22000 standards.
