General Ledger Accountant

About the role

Air Liquide Vietnam is seeking a General Ledger Accountant to join its finance team. You will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of the general ledger, supporting statutory reporting, and acting as a bridge for strategic finance projects.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the Business Service Center to ensure accurate posting across AR, AP, Fixed Assets, and Inventory.
• Prepare and present statutory financial statements on time and coordinate with external auditors.
• Lead periodic physical stock counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
• Produce statistical and investment reports for management.
• Support internal control documentation, conduct reviews, and report compliance findings.
• Assist in group‑wide ERP updates, acting as the local liaison for change management.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of full‑cycle accounting experience, preferably with a Big 4 background.
• Deep knowledge of Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS) and solid understanding of IFRS.
• Hands‑on experience with top‑tier ERP systems (Oracle or SAP required).
• Valid Chief Accountant Certificate is highly preferred.
