HR Staff - Japanese speaking

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented HR Staff member who is fluent in Japanese to join our team in Ho Chi Minh City. The role focuses on payroll, compensation and benefits administration for both local employees and expatriates, ensuring compliance with Vietnamese labour regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Process monthly payroll for local staff and expatriates, including personal income tax (PIT), social insurance (SHUI), bonuses and allowances.
• Maintain accurate employee records, contracts and time‑keeping data.
• Administer social insurance and coordinate with external vendors and government authorities on tax and payroll matters.
• Prepare statutory reports and ensure compliance with Vietnamese labour law.
• Monitor personnel costs and support budgeting activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in payroll, compensation & benefits or as an HR generalist.
• Business‑level proficiency in Japanese (JLPT N1/N2) and strong English communication skills.
• Good knowledge of Vietnamese labour law, PIT and SHUI regulations.
• Analytical mindset, high attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
