Injection Molding Process Engineer

About the role

The Injection Molding Process Engineer will be responsible for managing the technical aspects of the injection molding production line at Varroc Vietnam. This role focuses on maintaining molds, optimizing injection conditions, and ensuring smooth operation of robotic pick‑up systems.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee mold maintenance activities, injection parameters, and jig & chuck setup for robotic handling.
• Monitor and improve key performance indicators such as MTTR, MTBF, downtime, availability, and cycle time.
• Develop and implement work instructions (WI) and continuous improvement (kaizen) projects.
• Collaborate with suppliers to review mold designs using AutoCAD and Inventor.
• Analyze manufacturing processes to identify waste and drive process improvements.

Required profile

• College or university degree in a related engineering field.
• More than 4 years of experience in injection molding, with solid knowledge of mold structure and injection conditions.
• Ability to read and evaluate mold designs from suppliers using AutoCAD and Inventor.
• Good analytical skills for process waste analysis; understanding of PLC programming or electrical systems is a plus.
