Lab Management Officer

About the role

VinUniversity is seeking a Lab Management Officer to support its cutting‑edge research facilities. The role combines laboratory equipment upkeep, technical research assistance, and high‑performance computing administration in a vibrant academic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and calibrate laboratory instruments to ensure reliable operation.
• Provide technical support to researchers, including troubleshooting experiments and data workflows.
• Administer HPC and GPU resources, managing user access, job scheduling, and performance monitoring.
• Oversee data management practices, ensuring secure storage, backup, and compliance with research standards.
• Enforce safety protocols, maintain accurate documentation, and support audit activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, physical sciences, life sciences, computer science, IT or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in laboratory operations, technical research support, or research computing/system administration.
• Working knowledge of laboratory equipment operation, maintenance, and Linux‑based computing environments.
• Strong attention to safety standards, documentation, and regulatory compliance.
