Lab Technician

About the role

Fleming International Viet Nam is seeking a Lab Technician to support its cosmetic product development pipeline. The role involves preparing samples, conducting routine laboratory tests, assisting with GC‑MS analysis, monitoring product stability, and ensuring all documentation complies with internal procedures, GMP standards, and customer requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare laboratory samples, trial batches, and product prototypes according to approved formulas.
• Perform basic analytical tests such as appearance, colour, odour, pH, viscosity, specific gravity, and weight.
• Support GC‑MS analysis for raw materials and finished products.
• Monitor stability of cosmetic formulations over defined time periods.
• Document test results and maintain records in line with GMP and company SOPs.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, Chemical Engineering, Pharmacy, Biotechnology or a related field.
• Experience in cosmetics, personal care, fragrance, candles, GC‑MS analysis or general laboratory work is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of cosmetic testing, formulation, stability testing, GMP and laboratory analysis.
• Ability to follow technical instructions accurately with strong attention to detail.
