Lean Manufacturing & Industrial Engineering Intern

About the role

Bosch Vietnam's Ho Chi Minh City plant (HcP) in Dong Nai Province is looking for an intern in Lean Manufacturing and Industrial Engineering. The internship covers the Bosch Production System (BPS) methodology and industrial engineering support, with tasks assigned by managers.

Key responsibilities

• Support Lean Manufacturing (BPS) activity, including training preparation, documentation, workshops and improvement projects
• Support 5S and suggestion scheme activities through coordination, system administration, data tracking and communication
• Collect and analyse data to support continuous-improvement initiatives
• Assist with preparing presentations, reports and project updates
• Support time studies, cycle-time measurement and production time-data analysis
• Assist with standardised work, line balancing and operator workload analysis

Required profile

• Undergraduate student majoring in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or a related technical field
• Good command of English, with effective verbal and written communication
• Reliable, proactive, disciplined, patient, detail-oriented, able to work independently and in teams, eager to learn in a dynamic manufacturing environment

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Basic knowledge of Power BI and Power Automate is preferred
