About the role

Based in Omron’s offices in Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City, the Legal Counsel reports to the Legal Manager in Singapore and provides legal support to all business and manufacturing units of Omron in Vietnam.

Key responsibilities

Draft and review contracts, corporate rules, legal opinions and notice letters.
Support business units with day‑to‑day legal queries and compliance matters.
Conduct due‑diligence reviews and internal investigations related to misconduct.
Manage dispute resolution processes, including liaising with external counsel.
Collaborate with the APAC Legal Team to ensure consistent legal standards across the region.

Required profile

Degree in Law from a recognised law school.
1–4 years of experience in a leading law firm, corporate legal department, or a combination of both.
Proven experience drafting contracts, rules, legal opinions and formal letters.
Desirable experience in due‑diligence, internal investigations, dispute resolution and in‑house legal work.

Required skills

Professional proficiency in English.
